Gotcha! (Manjiri)

It was a Sunday morning. Manish was lounging in his third floor terrace, with his second chai and "TOI" Avin was busy with his Lego, building weird structures.  Peace reigned.

"how many times I told you? Do not burn the leaves here! You people just dont listen! Disgusting!"

Manish gave a sigh "Kane Kaka". Mr. Kane his neighbor was a typical retired uncle of his society.

Kaneji was returning from his laughter club. He wanted to start his day on pleasant note. But the man standing next to him at the club kept burping. "Disgusting!" he thought. And now this leaves burning. He took the lift. Luckily it was working. He looked at the flat next door. Manish and his family lived there. Such a lazy young fellow. Spending his weekend doing nothing. What's wrong with this generation? No drive! Disgusting!

Kaneji entered his flat. Babu had kept warm nimbu pani ready. He drank it and moved to the terrace to read the paper. He glanced at the terrace from the other building. All the washed clothes were drying on the clothesline. The underwear at the forefront. Kaneji exploded "Dhi - S - gu - sting! people have no shame!" Kaneji pronounced the word with varying emphasis, based on how annoyed he was.

"Good morning Uncle!" Manish called out. "Good morning Dadu" Avin added. from the window in the partition separating their terraces. Kaneji waved at them.

"Dadu I know a new poem do you want to listen to it?"  Avin continued

"Yes beta. Let's listen to it. Who taught you?" Kaneji asked

"Oh I just heard Daddy saying it yesterday and I learnt it on my own.

Whole day continues

cutting and thursting

I cant take it more

my brain it is bursting
Budhau goes on
Disgusting Disgusting Disgusting

I can say all the difficult words Dadu"
