Circle (Priya)

 Mrs Laad was teaching spellings to her third graders. “Children please say
D..I..S..G..U..S..T..I..N..G. The meaning is you have a strong feeling of dislike. “ Neel tried to
get the hang of the word. The word had strong association with it. With that thought he just
started to doodle on his book. When Mrs Laad saw this , she snatched the book from Neel's
hand and showed it to the whole class. "Now that's a disgusting notebook" . When the
teacher said that, all the children started to laugh. Neel felt so embarrassed.

When the school was over, Neel picked up his bag and started to walk towards his home.
He was still playing the word in his head. His heart was itching to use the word. As he was
walking a car passed near him and passed right through a puddle near him. The contents
were splashed neatly on his school dress. This made Neel's heart go wild. He started
running towards the car . When it stopped at the traffic signal he banged wildly on the
window and started to shout " you disgusting man . Look what you did " by showing him his
uniform.
Tarun was startled to hear banging on his car window. He could not make any sense out
of it. When he saw the small kid with a dirty school uniform gave him some idea. Tarun was
so embarrassed to see a kid to shouting at him and all the passengers in the car giving him
some look.

Tarun just stepped on accelerator when the light turned green. He could see the kid
yelling. Tarun turned his car in his office parking. He went to his office with a sour mood.
What happened on the traffic light made him angry. Tarun entered his cabin and sat on his
chair. He started to read all the documents on his table. He called Gloria from his intercom.
"What is this " Tarun started to yell at Gloria when she came in. "Look at all these mistakes
you are making. And try to correct them as soon as possible. I have some important people
waiting for these documents." As Gloria turned to go . Tarun shouted again "please take
these disgusting work of yours." Gloria was so upset with all the firing her boss gave her.
She was sulking whole day while finishing her work

After her office was over Gloria started walking towards the park. Today was Friday. She
was going to meet Aniket today. As she was strolling through the park, she saw Aniket
sitting on a bench. He was biting his nails and engrossed in his thoughts. He was going at
his nails as there was no end to it. After seeing Aniket instead of being happy and elevated,
a sudden rage took over Gloria. "What are you doing ? Why do you have to bite your nails.?
Such a disgusting habit you have. I am not waiting for one minute" . And she went stomping
her feet.

Aniket was so dumbfounded . He did not get what really happened in the matter of
seconds. All his dreams of spending some good time with Gloria went down in drain.
He just picked up his jacket and started to walk towards his home. As he was entering his
home someone threw banana peels on him. When he looked it was his mother, Mrs Laad
eating banana and looking a bit ashamed when caught in act.
"What a disgusting thing you did? How could you throw garbage on me"
Mrs Laad did not know how a word can complete a circle.
